Interpreting Skilled Trades Workshop by KAI-RID
Does the idea of interpreting auto mechanics make you break out in a cold sweat? Don’t know a philips head screwdriver from a spatula? Wonder what all those colorful wires mean? Come learn from skilled Deaf tradesmen at this informal, interactive workshop. No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn!
KAI-RID presents Interpreting Skilled Trades Workshop, Saturday, June 29th, 2019, 10:00am-12:00pm at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont, Lawrence, KS. Stay for lunch (included) followed by the KAI-RID Annual Business meeting from 1:00-3:00pm. Workshop worth 0.2 CEUs Professional Studies sponsored by Interpretek. $15 for KAI-RID members, $25 for non-members. The language of this workshop and business meeting will be in ASL.
